Slumgullion 72: Picard Meets the Mandalorian

Jeff and Scott make their Jean-Luc Picard and Mandalorian action figures fight for TV supremacy, then they feel bad about all the made-for-podcast violence and instead make them kiss, and things take an unexpected turn, with the plastic Jean-Luc and Din Djarin asserting their independence and going on a double date with Ken and Stretch Armstrong.

Jeff and Scott have come not to praise Deadpool 2 but to...Well, actually to praise it, but they get distracted by the release of Babylon 5 on Amazon Prime (which sounds like we're stuck in yet another stupid Star Trek timeline), and the Shakespeare in the Park production of Pirates of Penzance, starring Kevin Kline, Linda Rondstadt, and Rex Smith as Street Hawk!

Slumgullion Episode 45: Black Panther

In Part 1, Jeff and Scott grief counsel each other through their co-dependent relationships with Star Wars and Star Trek, and somehow wind up awarding a pair of breasts to Dr. McCoy. In Part II, the New Movie Crew takes on Black Panther, and the fur really flies.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, and star Chadwick Boseman make a surprise appearance at the opening night screening at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood. At least, it was a surprise to us.
