A full Unknown Movie Challenge episode is coming shortly (and wait'll you hear about the movie Jeff found this time. Just wait..), but meanwhile, here's a mini-sode featuring our thoughts on The Book of Boba Fett finale. And when we say "mini-sode", we mean Scott accidentally left the recorder going after we finished the last show, so if you ever wondered what it sounds like when we're just bullshitting off-mic, here you go...
Jeff and Scott talk The Book of Boba Fett and Peacemaker. Also some other crap because we're talky bastards...
Happy holidays, everyone. People seemed to enjoy last year's riff of D.W. Griffith's 1909 silent melodrama, A Trap for Santa, so we did it again, with an even more intensely Yuletide theme (because as Jeff says, "What's more Christmassy than gay panic?").
Here's our brief explanation of what the hell we think we're doing:
Jeff and Scott wing their way through DUNE and GHOSTBUSTERS AFTERLIFE, with a brief side trip to COWBOY BEBOP. Then Jeff tells a chilling BTS story about a night spent killing theater people in the Ohio woods for a shot-on-video monster flick from the 90s.
...and we're back! This episode you will learn the true identity of trans-temporal shamus, Time Dick!, and enjoy the sweet schadenfreude of hearing Jeff finally answer for his many crimes against the time line. Then the multitalented writer-artist Steve Van Samson drops by to discuss his new dark fantasy novel, Mark of the Witchwyrm, and everyone is having a great time, when suddenly--without warning--he whips out the mushroom-headed horror that is...MATANGO!
